There’s Something Suspicious About People Who Hate Everyone They Used to Be Friends With

One friendship ending badly? .... Completely normal.

Two? .....  Life happens.

But when every former friend is apparently jealous, toxic, crazy, fake or "whatever the case may be ” …  eventually ...... you do start wondering who the recurring character is...

People fall out. People grow apart. Sometimes someone genuinely treats us terribly and walking away is absolutely the right thing to do.

But healthy reflection usually leaves room for nuance.

Maybe you were hurt and handled parts of it badly. Maybe they weren’t awful, you simply stopped fitting into each other’s lives. Maybe neither person was the villain.

Pay attention when someone can tell you twenty stories about terrible people but cannot name a single thing they’ve ever done wrong.

Because accountability sounds very different from a permanent victim résumé.

And if every bridge behind someone is mysteriously on fire, you’re allowed to wonder who keeps carrying the matches.

Not judgment.

Just… pattern recognition, darling.
